Nothing says summer like strawberries to me. I have a couple of bushes growing in my apartment, some are almost ready to eat. But I had to move the pot on top of a table, because the damn cat keeps on eating the plant…. I guess strawberry leaves are irresistible to her…

Funny and delicious…

.... yup.... that's right... I'm a sissy...

Toasted caramelized onion foccacia, topped with garden pesto, sautéed mushrooms and soft poached egg.

Mmmmmm.. this was so good. We actually saw a form of this on the Food Network show, Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.. and the original chef totally messed it up… however the idea was good… and Jason's execution simply mouth watering.

I made dinner... yup sometimes I do cook...

Dinner: Monday, March 30th, 2007

Well after super extended break (due to exams) we're back to our weekly dinners. Missed those… thinking back I forgot to take pictures of our drink… well it was bright orange and delicious, composed of vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice and white cranberry juice..

Now for the dinner menu:

Appetizer: Squash and ricotta ravioli on a sweat pea sauce. This is sooooo good…Main: Pan fried trout on a bed of Jason's special poached leek and sautéed red beets, mmmm I love beets… Desert: Apricot-Bulgur Pudding Cake with Custard Sauce, was taken from this month's Eating Well magazine… and while interesting… I don't think I'll be making it again. I forgot to put the brown sugar on top too before baking it…
