This week on the menu:

Drink Pomegranate Liquor with Vodka and 7-Up.

Individual Terrine of Oven Roasted Tomato, Sautéed Mushrooms with Truffles, Asparagus, and Heart of Palm topped with Cookstown Baby Greens with Wild Thyme and Lemon Vinaigrette.

Baked Chilean Sea Bass, served on top of sautéed Baby Bok Choy, Japanese Eggplant with Red Thai Curry Sauce.

Strawberries with Maple Syrup whipped Devonshire Cream and Pink Lady Finger Cookies.

Jason's Bubble and Squeak…

Mashed potatoes with scallions, red cabbage, delicious sausage, and green asparagus (just because we had some).

It was a foggy, foggy Sunday…

Last week we (well actually just Jay) was babysitting Tammy's and Nick's car. I got picked up on Saturday after work… Honey looks so freaked out… but I promise that's her ecstatic look..

Jay went big this week; we all ended up with dinner for the next day… lol

We had:

Emerald Martinis – vodka, uphoria asian pear liquor, and lime juice

Vegetable Springrolls served on a bed of Cookstown Baby Salad Greens with Jay's own Plum and Ginger Vinaigrette and for the Springrolls Plum and Ginger dipping sauce.

Mushroom Lasagna… so delish
The layers from the bottom to the top
1.Portobello mushrooms in a tomato, red wine sauce.
2.Oyster and cremini mushrooms in a parmesan cream sauce
3.Baby Spinach with toasted mustard seeds
4.Cottage cheese with artichoke cream and black truffles.
5.Portobello mushroom in a tomato, red wine sauce.
6.Mozzarella cheese

No dessert because the lasagna was one rich dish.

I'm a horrible, horrible note taker….

I was sitting in class today… looked down at my hands and thought… damn… my chubby fingers need a manicure..

Dominion… my lunch cafeteria when I have no lunch from home... today my favorite salad: baby spinach, with strawberries, blueberries, cherry tomatoes, yellow and red peppers, dried cranberries, and walnuts with Renee's Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing…. yummy…
